Today was a momentous day here at Antivia.
We’ve just announced that we are to be acquired by insightsoftware.com, the creators of Hubble®.
So, today is the start of the next chapter in our journey to get information into the hands of everyone who needs it across an organization.
We’ve spent the past couple of months getting to know the team at insightsoftware.com and it was soon apparent that we share a vision around the future of business information in our organizations.
From the time I’ve spent visiting insightsoftware.com’s offices in Denver and London, and from the time members of insightsoftware.com have spent at our offices in Leeds it was also apparent that there is a good cultural fit between our two organizations.
So, becoming part of insightsoftware.com feels like a natural fit for us and with access to insightsoftware.com’s greater resources, this will enable us to grow DecisionPoint’s market presence more quickly than we could do on our own.
I’m really excited at the increased investment insightsoftware.com will bring to our research & development and sales & marketing teams. I’m looking forward to seeing us increase the pace of product development and to continue to innovate, so we can make it even easier for our customers to create and share information with their front-line workers.
The plan is for DecisionPoint™ to continue as a standalone product, but in parallel we will incorporate its technology into insightsoftware.com’s platform, helping to deliver a complete strategic Corporate Performance Management (CPM) suite by adding easy to build information applications and mobile capabilities.
To the customers who have joined us on this journey to date I extend a heartfelt thanks for your support and I hope that you will continue to work with us for many years to come. And, for anyone thinking about becoming a DecisionPoint™ customer … now is a great time to get on board!
